***We will combine both Chapters 11 & 12 because they both cover Imperialism and this time period. In these chapters, we will study which countries led the Age of Imperialism, why this time period took place, the positive and negative effects of Imperialism, the leaders involved, the wars around the world and why Imperialism was one of the major causes of World War I.
***REMINDER***
Some of you still need to make up Tests and/Quizzes. You have until Monday 1/26 by 3:00pm to do so or it will be a ZERO
Schedule for the Week
Monday - 1/26
- ALL tests and quizzes including Mid-Terms will be passed back
- Introduce Chapter 11 - Section 1
- Go over schedule from now until February vacation (2/13)
Tuesday - 1/27
- Read Chapter 11 - Section 1 (pages 339 - 344)
- Complete 2 handouts
- We will finish Section 1 in class
Wednesday - 1/28
- As of right now you will be doing MAP TESTING during my history class period on this day
- Assignments will be due on Thursday
Thursday - 1/29
- QUIZ - Chapter 11 - Section 1
- Read Chapter 11 - Section 2 (pages 345 - 350)
- Complete 2 handouts
Friday - 1/30
- Finish Section 2
- I will attach an assignment here (by Sunday) that will be due on Friday
- REPORT CARDS ARE ISSUED FOR QUARTER #2
